Ingredients

  • Sole fillets 5 lbs
  • Onion 3 pieces
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Mayonnaise 5 tablespoons
  • Cheese Spread 5 oz
  • Egg white 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 3 tablespoons
  • Paprika 0 oz
  • Salt 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Thaw and squeeze the fish fillet. Yes, squeeze it, as there is a lot of water in this type of fish. Cut into pieces measuring 7x7 cm.

Step 2

Season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with paprika or your favorite seasoning. Beat the eggs with the flour. Dip each piece of fish into the mixture and quickly fry in a pan. Transfer the fish to a baking sheet.

Step 3

Slice the onion into rings and place it on top of the fish. Cut the tomatoes into rounds and lay them on top of the onion. Make sure to follow this order, so the onion remains crispy and not stewed. Drizzle a little mayonnaise or sour cream on each stack, and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 4

Place in a preheated oven at 355°F for 15–20 minutes.
