Etelis stewed with wine and mushrooms
Ingredients
- Onion 3 pieces
- Pickled Chanterelles 20 oz
- Etelis 30 oz
- Dry White Wine 1½ cups
- Vegetable Oil 6 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Salt 1½ teaspoons
- Lemon-Pepper Mix ½ teaspoon
- Lemon 1 piece
- Herbs 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the fish fillet into pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and drizzle with the juice of half a lemon.
Step 2
Wash the mushrooms and slice them for frying. Clean and chop the onion. Sauté the mushrooms and onion in vegetable oil.
Step 3
When the water from the mushrooms evaporates and they start to brown, add a little flour and mix everything well. Keep on the heat for 1-2 minutes.
Step 4
Grate the zest from the lemon.
Step 5
Place the pieces of fish in a baking dish.
Step 6
Top the fish with the mushrooms and onions.
Step 7
Pour the wine with lemon zest over the top and place in a preheated oven at 355°F for 40-50 minutes.
Step 8
Serve on a plate with fresh vegetables.
