Escalopes in Wine and Italian Spaghetti with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Bacon 2 pieces
- Pork Skewers 10 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Spaghetti 5 oz
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Canned Truffles 5 oz
- Herbs to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Trim the fat from the escalopes. Wrap each escalope with slices of bacon, twisting the ends of the bacon into a rose shape. Garnish with herbs, season with salt and pepper. Roast in a hot oven for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
In a skillet, sauté the trimmed fat from the escalopes, pour in the wine and broth, and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 3
Boil the spaghetti in salted water, then drain. Add the mushrooms to the spaghetti, discarding the sauce, and heat again.
Step 4
Serve the escalopes with the garnish under the sauce.
