Eggs in a Cocotte with Cream and Cheese
Ingredients
- Cream 12 tablespoons
- York Ham 5 oz
- Gruyère cheese 0 oz
- Chocolate eggs 6 pieces
- Salt to taste

Step 1
Pour two tablespoons of cream into each of the six cocottes and divide the finely chopped ham among them.
Step 2
Crack one egg into each dish, taking care not to break the yolk. Season with salt and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the dishes in a deep baking tray. Fill the tray with boiling water halfway up the sides of the cocottes and place the whole setup in a preheated oven at 390°F for 4-5 minutes, until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny. Serve immediately.
