Eastern Turkey Stew with Oranges
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 15 oz
- Parboiled and wild rice blend 10 oz
- Orange juice concentrate 10 fl oz
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi 0 fl oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Oranges 6 pieces
- Chicken Broth 10 fl oz
- Starch film 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Sour Cream 4 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix orange juice, vinegar, wine, and sugar, and marinate the turkey breast cut into small pieces in this sauce for 2 hours.
Step 2
Peel the oranges and slice them.
Step 3
Cook the rice until done and place it on a serving dish.
Step 4
Sauté the turkey in vegetable oil and keep it warm.
Step 5
Dilute the broth with the juice left after frying the meat, reduce for 5 minutes, then add sour cream and thicken with starch. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Cook the pieces of meat and orange slices in the sauce for 1 minute.
Step 7
Serve the stew on the rice dish, drizzled with sauce.
