Description

Eastern Beef

Ingredients

  • Onion 0 oz
  • Celery stalk 0 oz
  • Veal Tenderloin 5 oz
  • Fresh Mushrooms 0 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Toasted Sesame 0 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Trim the tenderloin of membranes, cut into 1 cm slices (you can cut into smaller pieces or leave them as slices — to your taste). Dredge in cornstarch.

Step 2

Wash the mushrooms, clean them, and slice them in half. Chop the onion into cubes. Cut the pepper into small strips. Slice the celery stalk to a thickness of 0.5 cm. In general, prepare the vegetables (do not chop too finely).

Step 3

In a very hot skillet, sauté the meat; once you place the meat in the skillet — do not flip, stir, or disturb it! Let it sear for about 1–1.5 minutes before turning.

Step 4

Add the vegetables and blanch them (expose to heat without changing color or shape). Then add the soy sauce and heat through, adding water if necessary. The sauce should thicken slightly.

Step 5

Serve in a mound in the center of the plate and sprinkle with lightly toasted sesame seeds.
