Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Boiling water 5 fl oz
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits 5 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Sour Cream to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour.
Step 2
Crack the egg.
Step 3
Mash the egg with the flour using a fork.
Step 4
Add half a teaspoon of salt.
Step 5
Gradually pour in the boiling water.
Step 6
Start kneading the dough immediately. While it's hot, use a fork, then switch to your hands.
Step 7
During the kneading process, gradually add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Step 8
When the dough becomes smooth and elastic, cover it with plastic wrap or a towel and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Step 9
Place the frozen cherries in a colander, but do not fully thaw them to prevent them from releasing juice.

Roll out a thin layer of dough.

Use a glass or cup of the appropriate diameter to cut out circles.
Step 12
Place the cherries on the circles, sprinkle with sugar, and form the dumplings. This should be done quickly and in small batches before the cherries thaw. Boil water in advance.

The dumplings can be cooked immediately until done for 3–4 minutes, or frozen for later preparation.

Serve with sour cream. You can garnish with additional cherries before serving.
