Description
Dumplings filled with buckwheat and cottage cheese, combined with onions and potatoes.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 30 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Onion 2 heads
- Potato 10 oz
- Buckwheat Groats 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Put the potatoes and buckwheat to cook.
Step 2
Knead the dough using flour, eggs, one and a half cups of warm water, and a pinch of salt. The amount of flour and water can vary — the main thing is that the dough should be elastic.
Step 3
Sauté the chopped onion in oil - use two or three onions.
Step 4
Mash the boiled potatoes, add three-quarters of the onion and half of the oil in which it was sautéed. Mix the buckwheat with the cottage cheese and the remaining onion and oil. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Roll out the dough, cut out circles using a glass, place a filling of your choice on each circle, and then seal the dumplings.
Step 6
Add the dumplings to boiling water (make sure to cook different kinds separately), bring to a boil, and cook for three minutes.
