- Duck 1 piece
- Dry White Wine 10 fl oz
- Brown Sugar 0 oz
- Vinegar essence 0 fl oz
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Brandy 0 fl oz
- Oranges 5 pieces
- Peeled chestnuts 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Roast the young duck until cooked, constantly basting with white wine. Place on a serving dish.

Pour out the fat from the skillet, add brown sugar, vinegar, and stir until dissolved.
Step 3
Then pour in the broth, juice from three oranges, brandy, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Roast the chestnuts. Prick each chestnut with a fork, place in the skillet, cover with a lid, and roast over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Place the duck on a serving platter, arrange orange slices and chestnuts around it. Drizzle the duck with the sauce made from orange juice and brandy.
