Ingredients
- Duck 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Apple 9 pieces
- Bay leaf to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- Olives stuffed with lemon ½ teaspoon
- Nutmeg to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the duck, remove any feather remnants, season with salt, and drizzle with lemon juice. Place 3–4 apples and spices inside the duck.
Step 2
Cook at 430°F (428 degrees Fahrenheit) for 1 hour. During cooking, baste the duck with the fat that forms. Reduce the oven temperature to 320°F (320 degrees Fahrenheit) and add the remaining apples to the dish. Bake for another 20 minutes. Serve hot.
