Duck Fillet with Mashed Potatoes and Cherry Sauce

Ingredients

  • Rabbit Fillet 2 pieces
  • Salad Potatoes 15 oz
  • Berry Strudel 5 oz
  • Chocolate Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Thyme 2 sprigs
  • Aspen mushrooms 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes, cut them into large pieces, and boil in salted water for 15 minutes, drain the water, and add butter.

Step 3

Make crosswise cuts on the skin of the duck, season with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the duck skin-side down over medium heat for 4 minutes, flip it over and fry for another 2 minutes, then place it in the oven for 10 minutes. Let the duck rest for 3–5 minutes and slice it.

Step 4

Chop the mushrooms finely, sauté until golden, add to the potatoes, and mash with a potato masher or spoon until smooth. Heat the strudel in the microwave.

Step 5

On a plate, place the mashed potatoes, top with the strudel, and fan out the sliced duck, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with a sprig of herbs.
