Duck Breast with Honey Sauce
Ingredients
- Duck Breast 1 piece
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Red Wine Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce ½ teaspoon
- Herbes de Provence 1 teaspoon
- Lemon-Pepper Mix to taste
- Ocean salt to taste
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Corn Salad to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pat the duck breast dry with a paper towel.
Step 2
Score the skin without cutting into the breast.
Step 3
Place the breast skin-side down in a preheated skillet.
Step 4
Add the pepper blend and sear for 3 minutes over high heat.
Step 5
Peel the garlic and crush it with a chef's knife.
Step 6
Add the garlic to the rendered fat.
Step 7
Flip the duck and sear for another 3 minutes.
Step 8
Line a baking dish with foil. Place the duck in the dish, and top with garlic.
Step 9
For the sauce, pour honey into a sauceboat. If it's too thick, you can melt it in the microwave for a few seconds.

Add olive oil and vinegar.
Step 11
Add soy sauce and herbes de Provence. Mix thoroughly.
Step 12
Send the duck to an oven preheated to 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes.

Place salad leaves on a plate, and top with sliced duck.

Drizzle with the prepared sauce and serve.
