- Onion 1 head
- Lamb 5 oz
- Matsoni 10 fl oz
- Rice ½ cup
- Pea shoots 2 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Sorrel 0 oz
- Cilantro to taste
- Dill to taste
- KyaVar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pass the lamb and onion through a meat grinder, then add pepper.
Step 2
Shape the resulting minced meat into meatballs of equal size.
Step 3
Prepare the matsoni sauce. To do this, mix the sour milk with flour and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Boil the peas in a large pot, then add rice, sorrel, meatballs, matsoni sauce, and salt to the broth.
