
Dauphinoise Potatoes with Cream

Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 7 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Butter 5 oz
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 10 oz
- Salt to taste
- Mixed Ground Peppers to taste
- Dried Chamomile to taste
- Dried celery leaves 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes. Wash and dry them. Slice into thin round slices.
Step 2
Take a deep baking dish or a skillet with high sides. Grease the bottom and sides of the dish with a halved clove of garlic. Do the same with the butter.
Step 3
Do not throw away the garlic. We will need it.
Step 4
Layer the dish with potatoes so that they completely cover the bottom. Place pieces of butter on top. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and spices.
Step 5
Spread a good layer of cream using a spatula or knife.
Step 6
Again, layer the potatoes on top. Add salt, pepper, and spices to taste. Add a layer of cream.
Step 7
Repeat the process until all ingredients are used up.
Step 8
The final layer should be generously sprinkled with cheese.
Step 9
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Step 10
Place the potatoes in the oven to bake. Bake until the dish takes on a golden hue.
