Ingredients

  • Ground meat 0 lbs
  • Pickled Chanterelles 15 oz
  • Onion 5 pieces
  • Carrot 2 pieces
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop one onion, grate one carrot, and sauté until cooked.

Step 2

Blend half of the sautéed mixture in a blender.

Step 3

Add the second half of the mixture and the blended part to the ground meat, along with the egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and shape into cutlets.

Step 4

Fry the cutlets on both sides until browned, but not fully cooked.

Step 5

For the sauce: slice the remaining onion into half rings, grate the carrot, and quarter the mushrooms.

Step 6

Sauté the carrot and mushrooms.

Step 7

Add the onion, salt, and sweet red pepper, and sauté for a bit.

Step 8

Transfer the cutlets to the onion mixture, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat until the onion is fully cooked.

Step 9

The main ingredient of the sauce is onion, which will release a lot of juice, and you can experiment with the other components. You can add herbs, or omit the carrot and mushrooms. Variations depend on your imagination and taste.
