Cumin Pilaf
Ingredients
- Rice 5 oz
- Clarified Butter 5 oz
- Raisins 5 oz
- Black Cumin (Cumin) 0 oz
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the rice in salted water for a couple of hours. Then cook it until al dente.
Step 2
Soak the cumin in warm water for about half an hour. Sauté the raisins in butter and add sugar.
Step 3
Mix the rice with the cumin, transfer to a pot, drizzle with hot clarified butter, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat for 25–30 minutes.
Step 4
Serve the pilaf on a plate, garnished with raisins.
