Crispy Fried Potatoes

Description
I recommend serving with fresh dill in whole sprigs. Or with green onions, also in whole stalks.
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 6 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and slice them very thinly (about 3 mm).
Step 2
In heated oil, add salt and potatoes (if the pan is small, fry in small batches so the slices do not stick together or overlap).
Step 3
Fry until cooked, about 10-15 minutes, shaking constantly, until golden brown (different potato varieties cook for different lengths of time; I used young potatoes that take about 10 minutes).
Step 4
Use a slotted spoon to transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil. After about 5 minutes, you can serve.
