- Buttermilk 15 fl oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Cumin leaves 1 tablespoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Chicken fillet 5 lbs
- Peanut Butter to taste
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Paprika 1 tablespoon
- Cayenne Pepper 1½ tablespoons
- Coarse Salt 1 tablespoon
- Lemon 1 piece
- Dried onion powder 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix buttermilk, garlic, cumin, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and place them in the marinade. Stir, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Heat peanut oil in a skillet to 340°F. Mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, coarse salt, and onion powder, and coat the chicken pieces in this mixture.
Step 3
Fry the pieces in the oil for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to paper towels. Serve with lemon wedges.
