Creamy mussels in gorgonzola sauce with spinach
Ingredients
- Frozen White Mushrooms 10 oz
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
- Goat cheese 0 oz
- Fresh basil leaves ½ bunch
- Yellow Cherry Tomatoes 0 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Non-alcoholic sparkling wine 5 fl oz
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the mussels and let them sit for 1.5 minutes. Then drain the water. The amount of boiling water depends on the depth and width of the dish: the water should completely cover the mussels.
Step 2
In a pan over high heat, heat olive oil and butter. Add the mussels.
Step 3
Season with salt and stir.
Step 4
After a minute, stir again and pour in the cream. Reduce the heat to medium.
Step 5
Chop the spinach coarsely and add it to the dish. Stir.
Step 6
Add pepper.
Step 7
As soon as the cream starts to simmer slightly, pour in the sparkling wine.
Step 8
Add the halved cherry tomatoes and stir. Slightly reduce the heat.
Step 9
Add the gorgonzola and remove from heat.
Step 10
After 2 minutes, once the cheese has completely melted, transfer to a deep dish and serve with a wedge of lemon.
