Creamy cauliflower puree with basil
Ingredients
- Cauliflower 15 oz
- Fresh Basil 0 oz
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- 10% cream 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Place the cauliflower in a pot of water. Once boiling, cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3
Drain the water. Leave the cauliflower in the pot.
Step 4
Prepare the basil. Remove the stems, keeping mostly the leaves.
Step 5
Add the basil to the cauliflower.
Step 6
Add the butter.
Step 7
Pour in the cream.
Step 8
Add black pepper and salt.
Step 9
Blend the ingredients into a puree using an immersion blender. If the consistency is not creamy enough or too dry, add a little more cream.
