Ingredients
- Couscous ½ cup
- Water 1 cup
- Mango ½ piece
- Fresh Mint ½ bunch
- Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Turmeric a pinch
- Ground Nutmeg a pinch
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped almonds 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Dice the mango into small cubes, sauté in olive oil until golden, drain a couple of tablespoons of water, and caramelize slightly.
Step 2
Add the couscous and sauté for 1–2 minutes. Pour in the water and quickly stir until absorbed. Add spices, salt, and pepper, mix well, cover with a lid, reduce the heat to low, and let it warm for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Garnish with mint, almond flakes, and apple slices.
