Couscous with Chili, Herbs, and Lemon Juice
Ingredients
- Couscous 1 cup
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour 1 cup of couscous into a bowl.
Step 2
Season with a pinch of salt and pour in 2 cups of boiling water. Cover with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, chop the chili; if you prefer it less spicy, you can use less pepper and remove the seeds. Also chop the parsley.
Step 4
After five minutes, remove the lid from the couscous; it should be ready. Add lemon juice, freshly ground pepper, chili, and parsley, drizzle with oil, and mix well.
Step 5
Mint is also a great addition. Done.
