
Couscous with Chicken

Ingredients
- Chicken breast 30 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Bell pepper 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Couscous ½ cup
- Dry White Wine ¼ cup
- Spices to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the chicken breast over high heat on both sides.
Step 2
Add the onion, sliced into thin half-rings, and stir until it becomes translucent.
Step 3
Dice the bell pepper and tomatoes into small cubes and add them to the sauté. Season with salt and pepper, add herbal spices, dry white wine, mix well, and cover tightly with a lid. Reduce the heat and cook for about one and a half hours (the liquid should not evaporate much!). Stir a couple of times.
Step 4
When the sauté is ready (the chicken should be completely tender), sprinkle couscous evenly over the surface, stirring it in (so that it sinks below the surface!).
Step 5
Cover tightly with a lid and turn off the heat — it will finish cooking on its own in about 15 minutes. And it's ready to serve!
