- Semi-Smoked Sausage 10 oz
- Corn Grits 10 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 5 oz
- Serviceberries 0 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Bay leaf to taste
- Dill to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the carrot, peel it, and cut it into strips.
Step 2
Peel the onion, wash it, and slice it into rings.
Step 3
Wash and chop the herbs.
Step 4
Cut the smoked sausage into large strips.
Step 5
Cut the smoked bacon into cubes, add the sausage, and lightly fry.
Step 6
In the skillet with bacon and sausage, add pepper, carrot, and onion, pour in 200 ml of water, season with salt, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Transfer the contents of the skillet to a heat-resistant pot, add the corn, barberry, bay leaf, pour in 300 ml of hot water, cover with a lid, and place in a preheated oven at 390°F for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Before serving, sprinkle the finished porridge with chopped parsley and dill.
