Ingredients

  • Basmati rice 10 oz
  • Cod 5 lbs
  • Parsley 0 oz
  • Lemon ½ pieces
  • Butter 0 oz
  • 33% Cream 5 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken Broth 10 fl oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the rice in a saucepan and add enough water to cover it by about an inch.

Step 2

Grease a baking tray with butter and place portioned pieces of cod on it (preferably with the bone, as this will keep the meat from drying out during baking). Season with salt and pepper, then place the fish in a preheated oven at 355°F for ten minutes.

Step 3

Reduce the vegetable broth in a saucepan by about half, then add the cream and cook the sauce until it starts to thicken. Season the sauce with chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

Step 4

Serve the baked cod with rice and sauce.
