Ingredients

  • Cod fillet 20 oz
  • Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Cheese Spread 0 oz
  • Breadcrumbs 1 tablespoon
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 10 oz
  • Fresh Mushrooms 5 oz
  • Onion 1 head
  • Garlic to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Green peppercorns 5 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the cod fillet into pieces, season with salt and pepper, coat in flour, and fry. Transfer the fried fish to a baking tray with deep edges and set aside for a while.

Step 2

Make the sauce. Sauté the finely chopped onion until lightly golden, then add the finely chopped mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes. Add a few peppercorns, a bay leaf, tomato sauce, and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and season with salt to taste.

Step 3

Grate the cheese and mix it with the breadcrumbs. Drizzle the fish with sauce and sprinkle with the cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake in the oven at 390°F until a golden crust forms.
