- Basmati rice 1 cup
- Water 1 cup
- Coconut Milk ½ cup
- Kaffir Lime Leaves 3 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water, add salt, pour in the coconut milk, and add 2-3 kaffir lime leaves. Tear the leaves by hand beforehand to release more aroma.
Step 2
Add cold water and place on medium heat. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to the minimum and cook covered for 8-10 minutes until done.
Step 3
Once the water is fully absorbed, remove the lime leaves and fluff the rice thoroughly.
