Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Butter 0 oz
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Dried Chinese mushrooms 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 1½ tablespoons
- Chicken Broth 20 fl oz
- Rabbit Fillet 20 oz
- Cod Mince 5 oz
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the mushrooms in 250 milliliters of water until soft.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and sauté in half of the butter with the herbs. Add spices.
Step 4
Add the mushrooms and sauté lightly.
Step 5
Then add the remaining butter and flour and sauté for about a minute.
Step 6
Stir in the broth and bring to a boil. Then add the chopped duck.
Step 7
Fill 4 small ovenproof dishes with the mixture. Roll small balls from the mince and add them to the duck.
Step 8
Roll out the pastry very thinly.
Step 9
Brush the edges of the dishes with beaten egg. Cover each dish with a piece of pastry so that the edges hang over. Press tightly if you want the pastry to rise. Brush the top with egg and bake for about 40 minutes until the pastry rises and turns golden.
