  • Onion 1 head
  • Salt to taste
  • Fatty Beef 5 oz
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Bay leaf to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the beef fat in a saucepan.

Sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.

Then add the bacon, neck, sausage (like 'Krakowska'), chopped cabbage, garlic, salt, pepper, bay leaf, wine, and simmer everything for an hour over low heat.

Boil the potatoes in their skins.

Heat the 'Strasbourg' sausages in salted water without bringing to a boil.

Serve the braised cabbage on a plate with sliced smoked meats and peeled potatoes.
