Ingredients
- Red Long Chili Peppers 12 pieces
- Lard 0 oz
- Boneless pork shoulder 20 oz
- Boneless pork shoulder 20 oz
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Onion 1 head
- Dried Rosemary 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cumin 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Campbell's Beef Broth 10 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the dried peppers in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Let sit for 30 minutes. Then remove the seeds, place the peppers in a blender with the water, and puree. Set aside.
Step 2
In a skillet over high heat, heat the lard. Then add the diced meat and sauté for about 12 minutes, stirring. Push the meat aside so that the center of the skillet is empty.
Step 3
Add the finely chopped onion and garlic to the center. Cook for about 2 minutes, then pour in the chili puree and broth, bringing to a boil.
Step 4
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour. Remember to stir occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on plates. Enjoy your meal!
