Ingredients
- Cilantro to taste
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Onion 2 pieces
- Grated Ginger Root 0 oz
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Sweet Chili Sauce 5 fl oz
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Blue Crabs 30 oz
- Tamarind Paste 1 teaspoon
- Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the crab into pieces, remove the insides, and thoroughly wash everything with a brush.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a wok and sauté the finely chopped onion, grated ginger, and garlic.
Step 3
Remove the seeds from the chili pepper, finely chop it, and add it to the wok, mixing and frying for five minutes.
Step 4
Blend everything until smooth.
Step 5
Add the tomatoes, chili sauce, tamarind paste, sugar, about 100 ml of water, and mix well.
Step 6
Place the crab in such a way that all pieces are covered with sauce, and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat with the lid on.
Step 7
Beat the egg with a fork and pour it into the wok in a thin stream while stirring vigorously. Once the egg sets, turn off the heat.
Step 8
Transfer the crab to a plate and sprinkle with cilantro.
