Chickpeas with Vegetables

Ingredients
- Chickpea 1 cup
- Carrot 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Asafetida a pinch
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Potato 15 oz
- Iceberg Lettuce 1 bunch
- Salt 0 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the chickpeas in cold water for four hours. They should swell two to three times.
Step 2
Drain the water, cover the chickpeas with cold water, and boil on high heat for one to one and a half hours until they become soft.
Step 3
Sauté the garlic. Chop the carrot and add it to a hot skillet. When the carrot is browned, add the diced or sliced bell pepper. Fry until lightly browned.
Step 4
Add the boiled chickpeas to the vegetables, season with salt, and fry for another 3–4 minutes.
