Chicken Zrazy with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Onion 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Pickled Chanterelles 10 oz
  • Salt 1½ teaspoons
  • Chicken fillet 25 oz
  • Egg white 2 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs 6 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in oil until translucent. Add the mushrooms. If they are large, cut them into several pieces. Season with salt and cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring, until the excess liquid evaporates and the mushrooms are cooked.

Step 2

Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces and grind them in a blender or meat grinder. Add 1 egg, salt, and pepper to the minced meat. Mix until smooth.

Step 3

Lightly beat the egg with a fork, and place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Divide the minced meat into 6 portions. Shape each portion into a large patty about 1 cm thick. Place a tablespoon of filling inside and fold it tightly, sealing the edges carefully.

Step 4

Shape the product into an oval and first dip it in the egg, then coat it in breadcrumbs on all sides.

Step 5

Fry the zrazy until golden brown on both sides, transfer to a baking dish, and bake at 355°F for 20 minutes.
