Chicken with quince, ginger, and saffron
Ingredients
- Quince 25 oz
- Poultry 1 piece
- Butter 0 oz
- Onion 4 heads
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Paprika 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root 1 teaspoon
- Saffron a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into pieces, wash, dry, and fry in butter.
Step 2
Remove the chicken. Peel and chop the onion, then fry in the oil left from frying the chicken. Next, add the chicken to the onion. Add roughly chopped parsley, paprika, ginger, and saffron. Season with salt and pepper, and mix. Pour in a little water to barely cover the contents. Cover with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Wash the quince, dry it. Cut into 4 pieces, remove the core and seeds, and fry in butter. Then add the quince to the pan with the chicken and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
