Chicken with quince and potatoes in a sleeve
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs 2 pieces
- Salad Potatoes 6 pieces
- Quince 2 pieces
- Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Seasoning 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
- Ground Dried Garlic ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Rinse the chicken thighs, pat dry, and cut into two pieces.
Step 3
Sprinkle with seasoning, add pepper, garlic, and rub the chicken.
Step 4
Add soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, mix, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Wash the quince, cut into four pieces, and remove the core. Slice each piece into 1.5 cm thick slices.
Step 6
Peel the potatoes, pat dry, and slice into 2 cm thick slices.
Step 7
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the quince on both sides until lightly golden.
Step 8
In the same oil (add more if necessary), sauté the potatoes until partially cooked and golden brown.
Step 9
Mix the potatoes with the quince (lightly salt the potatoes beforehand) and place them in the sleeve.
Step 10
Place the chicken on top of the potatoes and quince, pour the remaining marinade over, tie the sleeve without piercing it, and bake in the oven at 375°F for 1 hour.
Step 11
Serve hot on a communal plate or individually.
