Ingredients
- Poultry 20 oz
- Salad Potatoes 5 pieces
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Butter 0 oz
- Ground Nutmeg a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Herbes de Provence a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Peel and slice the potatoes into medium-thick rounds. Place the chicken in a greased baking dish, season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with herbs to taste, mixing the pieces. Top with the potatoes, seasoning them lightly as well.
Step 2
For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Then pour in the milk and continue to stir. Finally, season lightly with salt, sprinkle with nutmeg, and add pepper. Once off the heat, grate most of the cheese into the sauce and mix.
Step 3
Pour the sauce over the potatoes in the dish, spreading it evenly. Grate the remaining cheese on top for a crust and place in a preheated oven at 355°F for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
