Chicken with Honey Crust
Ingredients
- Poultry 1 piece
- Honey 6 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Marjoram to taste
- Dry White Wine 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the chicken, pat it dry, and rub it with ground black pepper and salt inside and out.
Step 2
Place marjoram and bay leaves inside the chicken and secure the opening with toothpicks.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of honey with lemon juice for the baked chicken.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Place the chicken in a baking dish greased with sunflower oil, brush it with the honey-lemon mixture, then pour the wine over it. Bake for about 1 hour.
