Ingredients
- Carrot 5 oz
- Chicken fillet 10 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Broccoli 10 oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Italian herb blend to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the chicken breast and cut it into cubes.
Step 2
Prepare the marinade for the chicken (to ensure the fillet is tender and juicy): mix soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, crushed or finely chopped garlic, dried herbs, and ground pepper. Marinate the chicken in this mixture for 20–30 minutes.
Step 3
While the fillet is marinating, wash and peel the carrots, then grate them using a coarse grater. Divide the (previously thawed) broccoli into small florets and season with salt to taste.
Step 4
Place the chicken in a preheated skillet (without oil) and sauté covered, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Add the carrots and cook over medium heat for another 3–4 minutes, then add the broccoli, stir, cover, and let it cook for another 5–7 minutes.
Step 5
Combine the cream with the cottage cheese or cream cheese, then pour it over the chicken and vegetables. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Step 6
You can garnish with fresh herbs or grated cheese before serving.
