Description

Bon appetit!

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Chicken fillet 0 lbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Poultry to taste
  • Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
  • Pickled Apples 4 pieces
  • Sugar 6 tablespoons
  • Water 3 tablespoons
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Clear Apple Juice 1 cup
  • Cayenne Pepper 1½ teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.

Step 2

Mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil with ground black pepper, salt, and poultry seasoning. Coat the cut chicken fillet in this mixture.

Step 3

Fry the chicken in a well-heated skillet over high heat for 5–7 minutes until golden brown, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Step 4

Transfer the chicken to a deep dish (salad bowl).

Step 5

Cut the bell pepper into thin strips (into 8 pieces).

Step 6

Fry the bell pepper in 1 tablespoon of olive oil over high heat for 2 minutes on each side.

Step 7

Add the fried pepper to the chicken.

Step 8

Core the apples and cut them into wedges.

Step 9

In a deep skillet, heat 6 tablespoons of sugar with 3 tablespoons of water over medium heat until caramel forms (1–2 minutes after the sugar has completely dissolved).

Step 10

Add the apples to the skillet with the caramel and cook them in the caramel for 5 minutes on each side over low heat.

Step 11

Add the caramelized apples to the chicken and pepper. Mix well.

Step 12

Add butter, apple juice, and cayenne pepper to the caramel.

Step 13

Bring the resulting sauce to a thickening point over medium heat, but do not overcook it, as it may harden due to the caramel.

Step 14

Drizzle the sauce over the chicken, pepper, and apples.
