Chicken thighs in creamy sauce with wild mushrooms
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Chicken Thighs 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Frozen White Mushrooms 5 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix to taste
- Herbs to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the finely chopped onion in butter in a pot.
Step 2
Add the mushrooms (without thawing) and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
Step 3
Then add the chicken thighs, salt, pepper, and enough water (or broth) to almost cover the chicken. Simmer on low heat for 40 minutes to 1 hour, but no less than 40 minutes.
Step 4
Add the sour cream and herbs, bring to a boil, and turn off the heat. Let the dish sit for 30 minutes.
