Chicken stir-fry with mushrooms and bell peppers

Ingredients

  • Garlic 3 heads
  • Chicken fillet 8 pieces
  • Sweet Pepper 1 piece
  • Champignons 5 oz
  • Onion 0 oz
  • Apple Cider Vinegar 2 spoons
  • Soy Sauce 6 teaspoons
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Potato protein 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the sauce. To do this, mix vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and starch. Set aside.

Step 2

Cut the chicken into thin strips.

Step 3

Finely chop the ginger and garlic.

Step 4

Slice the bell pepper into thin strips and cut the onion into thin half-rings.

Step 5

Slice the mushrooms thinly.

Step 6

In a wok or a large deep skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat. In 3-4 batches, sauté the chicken, stirring constantly, until it is lightly golden brown, about a couple of minutes per batch.

Step 7

Transfer to a plate.

Step 8

In a wok, add ginger and garlic. Stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add mushrooms and onion. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.

Step 9

Add the bell pepper and sauté for another 3 minutes.

Step 10

Return the chicken to the wok and pour in the sauce. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Step 11

Serve with boiled rice.
