Chicken stir-fry with mushrooms and bell peppers
Ingredients
- Garlic 3 heads
- Chicken fillet 8 pieces
- Sweet Pepper 1 piece
- Champignons 5 oz
- Onion 0 oz
- Apple Cider Vinegar 2 spoons
- Soy Sauce 6 teaspoons
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Potato protein 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the sauce. To do this, mix vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and starch. Set aside.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into thin strips.
Step 3
Finely chop the ginger and garlic.
Step 4
Slice the bell pepper into thin strips and cut the onion into thin half-rings.
Step 5
Slice the mushrooms thinly.
Step 6
In a wok or a large deep skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat. In 3-4 batches, sauté the chicken, stirring constantly, until it is lightly golden brown, about a couple of minutes per batch.
Step 7
Transfer to a plate.
Step 8
In a wok, add ginger and garlic. Stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add mushrooms and onion. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.
Step 9
Add the bell pepper and sauté for another 3 minutes.
Step 10
Return the chicken to the wok and pour in the sauce. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Step 11
Serve with boiled rice.
