Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 30 oz
- Dried Apricots 6 pieces
- Grated Ginger Root 5 oz
- Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
- Spanish onions 2 heads
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Start with the chicken. Cut the fillet, add finely chopped garlic, ground pepper, and soy sauce (instead of salt). Let it marinate for about 20-30 minutes.
Step 2
Soak the dried apricots in hot water for about 15 minutes.
Step 3
Slice the onion into thin half-rings and sauté in olive oil, adding finely chopped ginger root.
Step 4
Cut the softened dried apricots into thin strips and add them to the onion and ginger. Stew for about 5 minutes under a lid.
Step 5
Add the marinated chicken to the stewed mixture and cook until done.
Step 6
Serve with fluffy rice, as the chicken turns out juicy.
