
Chicken Stewed with Carrots and Onions

Description
For a nice touch, you can sprinkle the rice with dried dill.
Ingredients
- Turnips 4 pieces
- Chicken fillet 25 oz
- Onion ½ head
- Long-Grain Rice 10 oz
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the rice according to the instructions. Ideally, cook the rice in a steamer, but I don't have one, so I boiled it the traditional way.
Step 2
Slice the carrots into rounds.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion.
Step 4
Cut the chicken fillet into strips, place in a skillet, and cook for 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Add the onion and carrots, cover with a lid, and stew for another 3 minutes.
Step 6
Serve the chicken with rice as a side dish.
