Description

Chicken Stewed in Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 1 teaspoon
  • Poultry 1 piece
  • Sour Cream 3 tablespoons
  • Whole egg 1 piece
  • Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Citric Acid 0 oz
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the chicken into serving pieces and quickly fry them in a well-heated skillet. Then place the pieces of chicken into a pot, add a third of a cup of hot water, and set to stew.

Step 2

Toast the flour in the skillet with vegetable oil, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Then transfer the flour mixture to a saucepan. Add the sour cream and yolk. Mix everything thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and homogeneous. Its consistency should be similar to that of sour cream. Add salt, citric acid, and sugar.

Step 3

Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and let it simmer on low heat for 1 minute.
