You need to take 2 small pumpkins, each weighing 600 grams.

  • Pumpkin 2 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • Onion 1 head
  • Apple juice with pulp 1 cup
  • Corn Starch 1 teaspoon
  • Antonovka apples 1 piece
  • Chopped Sage Leaves ½ teaspoon
  • Chicken fillet 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the pumpkins, cut them in half, scoop out the seeds with a spoon, sprinkle with salt and pepper, place cut side down on a plate, and bake in the microwave on high power for about 8 minutes until cooked.

Step 2

Cut the bacon into strips, the onion into thin half-rings, the apple into thin wedges, and the chicken fillet (previously boiled) into cubes.

Step 3

Fry the bacon with the onion until golden brown.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, mix the apple juice with cornstarch and add it to the pan with the fried bacon and onion. Also add the sliced apple. Stir, simmer, and occasionally stir for about 3 minutes until thickened.

Step 5

Add the sage and chicken, season with salt. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Distribute the mixture into the warm baked pumpkin halves and serve.
