Description
It is recommended to use only fresh chicken fillet. Frozen chicken should only be used in exceptional cases, but the taste will not be the same.
Ingredients
- Eggplants 3 pieces
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 15 oz
- Onion 3 heads
- Orange Bell Peppers 3 pieces
- Green Butter 0 oz
- Thyme 3 stems
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken breast lengthwise and slightly pound it.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add thyme.
Step 3
Then rub the chicken meat with salt and black pepper and place it on a well-heated skillet. Fry on each side for 5–7 minutes.
Step 4
In a separate skillet, sauté the vegetables cut into thin strips in the following order: eggplants (2–3 minutes), then add the onion (another 3–4 minutes) and bell pepper.
Step 5
Simmer everything together for about 20 minutes, stirring regularly. When all the ingredients are ready, arrange the lettuce leaves on a beautiful plate, place the fried onion on top, then add the eggplants with bell pepper. Finally, place the fried chicken on top.
Step 6
This dish can be garnished with sprigs of dill and parsley. Mashed potatoes or fluffy buckwheat porridge would make a suitable side dish.
