Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 175 oz
- Onion 3 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Marjoram 1 tablespoon
- Kefir 20 fl oz
- Sparkling water 20 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the meat (remove from the bone). Cut into small pieces (3x4x3 cm). Place the meat in a marinating container (preferably not aluminum).
Step 2
Slice the onion into half rings, add to the meat, and mix by 'squeezing' the meat with the onion to absorb the juice.
Step 3
Add salt and pepper, mixing well (about 1.5-2 tablespoons without a heap for 4-5 kg); add marjoram and mix.
Step 4
Pour in the kefir in portions, mixing so that the meat is not floating in it, but just coated.
Step 5
Pour in the sparkling water, mixing so that the meat is sticking out of the liquid.
Step 6
Marinate the shashlik for at least 6 hours in the refrigerator (the longer, the better).
