
Chicken Schnitzel

Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
- Dijon Mustard 0 oz
- Ground Breadcrumbs 20 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 qt
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the bone, tendons, and the small fillet from the chicken breast. Cut it in half lengthwise along the grain to create two equal halves.
Step 2
Cover the chicken fillet with plastic wrap and gently pound it with a kitchen mallet.
Step 3
Prepare the egg mixture by combining eggs, soy sauce, and mustard. Whisk vigorously.
Step 4
Dip the schnitzel in breadcrumbs until they are fully coated on the chicken.
Step 5
Carefully dip the fillet into the egg wash, and then back into the breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Place the schnitzel on a cutting board and pound it gently to adhere the breadcrumbs well.
Step 7
Pour 250 ml of oil into the skillet. Once it heats up, immerse the schnitzel in the hot oil. Fry it first on one side, then on the other — three minutes on each side.
Step 8
Pat the cooked schnitzel dry with a paper towel.
Step 9
Serve with mashed potatoes and a wedge of lemon.
