Chicken Satsivi with Cloves and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Poultry 1 piece
- Onion 2 heads
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Cinnamon a pinch
- Ground clove 4 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Cilantro 1 bunch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the chicken until cooked and cut into serving pieces. Strain the broth.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil with the addition of flour.
Step 3
Blend the walnuts, garlic, and cloves until finely chopped.
Step 4
Mix the broth, onion, blended walnuts with garlic and cloves, mayonnaise, and raw eggs. Add salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
Step 5
Pour the resulting sauce over the chicken and leave it in the refrigerator for 5–7 hours.
Step 6
Before serving, garnish with chopped cilantro.
