Chicken Rolls with Prunes in the Oven
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 15 oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots 0 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Sour Cream 0 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
- Breadcrumbs 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Italian chopped parsley 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide

Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the prunes and soak them in hot water.
Step 3
Mash the cream cheese with a spoon, add the garlic pressed through a garlic press, salt, and ground pepper, and mix well.
Step 4
Add a piece of softened butter and mix again.
Step 5
Finely chop the prunes and mix them with the cream cheese.
Step 6
Cut each chicken fillet lengthwise and pound it under plastic wrap.
Step 7
Add Italian herbs and salt to the sour cream, and mix.
Step 8
Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and mix again.
Step 9
Spread a layer of the cream cheese and prune mixture evenly over each chicken cutlet.
Step 10
Roll them up and secure with a toothpick.
Step 11
Coat the rolls in flour.
Step 12
Brush the rolls with sour cream on all sides.
Step 13
Roll in breadcrumbs and place in a baking dish, previously greased with vegetable oil.
Step 14
Bake the rolls in an oven preheated to 355°F for 30 minutes, serve hot with fresh or pickled vegetables and a side dish of your choice.
